Platform help

Help with your Wix, Squarespace, WordPress or Shopify site

You don't always need a new website. Often the one you have can be faster, easier to use and easier to find. I work inside the platform you already pay for and explain what can and can't be changed on it.

What I can help with

  • Speed: image sizes, unused apps and plugins, and slow pages.
  • Accessibility: contrast, labels, keyboard access and the other barriers templates leave in.
  • Search basics: titles, descriptions, headings and a sitemap.
  • Training: live one-on-one sessions over virtual video meetings, so you can update it yourself.

Know the platform's limits

Some platforms, like WordPress, give full control over the code, while hosted builders like Squarespace and Wix limit how much anyone can change under the hood. I'll tell you upfront what's possible with yours.

Where to start

Before any fixes or changes, I look at how your site is built and what it depends on. On a platform full of plugins and apps, one careless change can break something else, so the work is planned and quoted first.

A free site check of your home page gives you the three biggest issues there and what they mean for your visitors. A $100 starter review goes deeper, with every issue on your home page for performance, accessibility, search and best practices, explained and ranked.

Checks, reviews and audits are information only: they show what could be improved, and any fixes are quoted and agreed on separately. Not every issue can be fixed, and perfect scores aren't always possible, depending on your platform, hosting, third-party tools and other factors.
